Connect your MMP to Ktrl

Written by Kevin Jabbour

1. Get your MMP API Key

2. Enter your API Key in Ktrl

  • Paste the key into the Ktrl setup wizard and click Continue.

  • Ktrl will validate the key and show all apps linked to your MMP account.

3. Select your app data

  • Choose the app you want to onboard.

  • Depending on your MMP setup, you may need to:

    • Select a single app that represents both platforms, or

    • Select both iOS and Android versions separately.

4. Configure your Ktrl app

  • Match your Ktrl app settings to your MMP configuration.

  • If you're unsure, reach out to Customer Success via Slack or the in-app support widget in the bottom-right corner.

5. Set your ROAS targets

  • Define the global target your campaigns will optimise toward. You'll set:

    • ROAS type - paid, incremental blended, or full blended

    • Revenue type - gross or net

    • Target ROAS % and DSI - e.g. 100% by D90

    • Optimisation DSI - the short-term window ad networks use to optimise (commonly D7 or D28)

What happens after setup

Once you've completed all setup steps, Ktrl takes over in the background.

  1. Data ingestion and model training - Ktrl connects to your MMP, ingests your historical data, and trains your ROAS forecasting models. This usually takes around 24 hours.

  2. Launching status - While setup is in progress, your app will show a Launching label in the dashboard. Settings are locked during this period.

  3. Notification when ready - When your app is live, you'll get a Slack message and an email from your Customer Success partner. Settings will be editable from this point on.
